Keith Wildenberg
"Modern people listen more willingly to witnesses than to teachers, and if they do list to teachers, it is because they are witnesses." - Pope Paul VI, Evangelii nuntiandi 41
Catholic institutions are ready to form L G B & T people as faithful and intentional disciples.

Building Catholic Futures equips apostolic leaders to evangelize and catechize gay people of all ages. We call forth witnesses from the margins to the forefront of the Church's mission.

After a successful business career, Keith joins with other gay, lesbian, bi, and same-sex attracted Catholics to develop tools and resources for LGBT+ ministry, created in consultation with those who might use them. Keith and his colleagues will help you to:

... find and develop trustworthy mentors in your local community.
... read Scripture, the lives of the saints, and recent gay history in ways that can inspire, rather than divide.
... discern and foster the good, the true, and the beautiful in people's desires.
... fit the challenges of social justice and the moral life into a broader whole: the life of a missionary disciple.

Keith envisions a Church in which every Catholic leader is confident and able to speak credibly about questions important to lgbt&Q people. (Click "+" to learn more)

Building Catholic Journeys workshops and retreats are a curriculum on the "art of accompaniment," shaped around the lived experiences and needs of LGBT+ believers.

  3. WITNESSES, Retreats, panels, and conversations for and by LGBT+ Catholics

Building Catholic Witnesses programs offer testimony and conversation showcasing the diversity of faithful gay Catholic lives.

    Panel discussions with Q&A.

Guided conversations with school and parish LGBT+ affinity groups.

A Scripture-based retreat that culminates in a "Testimony Builder" to help LGBT+ believers to tell their stories in ways that lead others to deeper love for Christ and his Church.

  4. FUTURES, Resources for those with young people in their care

Catholic Futures resources are for parents and other educators.

Workshops help Catholic schools turn potential conflicts into opportunities for witness.

Worksheets introduce students to historical figures who experienced same-sex attraction and deep Catholic faith.

A guide written by Keith's co-founder, Eve Tushnet, helps parents talk to their kids about LGBT+ questions.
